These lists were compiled with the assistance of an analytics tool called Little Bird based on a data set of 3964 Twitter accounts related to the keyword “parking”.
The lists were segmented into two groups (people and organizations), then ordered based on Little Bird’s proprietary “Insider Score” which identifies the Twitter accounts that are followed by the greatest number of other Twitter accounts in the data set.
Therefore, the appearance (or absence) of any person or organization on the list is the result of the analytics tool and not the choice of the article author or publisher, with one small exception. A handful of general interest publications, such as @Wired and @BusinessInsider, were removed from the organization list because they were not directly related to parking topics but are followed by a considerable number of parking insiders owing to their high profile and large reader base.
